The presentation of the book of Prof. Deacon Mikael (Merab) Galdava – “Acathist Hymn and Paraklesis of All Saints Chanters”

On March 11^th of 2024, at the Giorgi Mtatsmindeli University of Chant was held  the presentation of the book of Professor, doctor of philology and theology, Deacon Mikael (Merab) Galdava –  “Acathist Hymn and Paraklesis of All Saints Chanters”.

The book of prayer content consists of three parts (Acathist Hymns, Paraklesis and biographical information of corresponding saints) and is dedicated to the chanters canonized by the Orthodox Church.

The idea of compiling the book is related to Giorgi Mtatsmindeli University of Chant. The publication was prepared with the support of the university and it still has no analogues in the Georgian (and not only) liturgical field.

The book was published by the financial supporter of the the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, within the frame of the project “Promotion of Higher Educational Institution”.
