Associate Professor

In 1990-1995, he was a member of the folk ensemble “Bichebi”.
In 1995-1999, he studied at the choral-conducting faculty of Meliton Balanchivadze Music School No. 3.
In 2007, he graduated from the Faculty of Conducting of the Academic Choir of the Tbilisi State Conservatory named after Vano Sarajishvili, and in 2009 – a master’s degree.
In 1997-2000, he was a teacher of the boys’ choir of the 28th Tbilisi Music School named after Zurab Anjafaridze; Since 2000, he has been leading the boys’ patriarchal singing choir; From 2002 to the present day, the director of the “Basiani” Foundation for the Restoration and Development of Church Hymns and Georgian Folk Songs under the Patriarchate of Georgia; From 2012 to the present day — head of the project direction of the “Georgian Singing” Foundation; Since 2000, the artistic director of the ensemble “Basiani”, and since 2013 – the artistic director of the ensemble “Basiani”.
Since 2014, he has been the executive director of the State Center of Folklore.
