On May 30, women’s choir of the University of Chant (Head: Ana Lolashvili) took part in the traditional music evening of the Republican Scientific Conference of young ethnomusicologists. The event took place in the small hall of Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatory. The evening was led by Professor Natalia Zumbadze, the scientific leader of the project. Various ensembles and individuals participated in the evening of traditional music together with the women’s choir of the university. Among them were the university’s current and graduate students. The concert included many ensembles, such as Gori Ethnographic Choir ,,Rikhi’’ (Head: Zurab Tskrialashvili); the girls’ folk ensemble of the Georgian Traditional Music School of Telavi ,,Mzeshina’’ (Head: Ekaterine Karaulashvili) named after St. Karbelashvili brothers; ensemble of chanter-singers ,,Kirialesa’’ (Head: Lela Urushadze); a group of students of Sergo Zakariadze College of Traditional and Modern Arts (Teachers: Ucha Pataradze, Lela Urushadze), Tamar Akhobadze, Zura Mamukelashvili (Akhmeta), Anri Kaadze (Upper Alvani).
