Assistant professor

In 1998, he graduated from the 133rd secondary school of Tbilisi. In the same period, until 1996, he worked in the boys’ folk ensemble “Martve” and the studio “Martve” at the music school. In 1997-2001, he studied at the choir-conducting department of Tbilisi N3 Music College. In 2003, he continued his studies at Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire. He graduated from Tbilisi State Conservatoire in 2008, majoring in academic choir conducting. In 2000-2002, he was the head and leader of the youth folk ensemble “Kolkheti”. Since 2000, he has been a member of the Patriarchal Choir of Tbilisi Sion, and later – of Holy Trinity Cathedral. Since 2002, he joined the folk ensemble “Basiani” of the Patriarchate – later the state ensemble of Georgian folk song “Basiani”. Since 2013, he has been the director of the “Basiani” ensemble. In 2009-2011, he was the leader of the children’s choir at the Patriarchate; In 2011-14, he worked as a team leader at the Yakob Gogebashvili school in Kiketi. From 2007 to the present, he is an assistant professor at Giorgi Mtatsmindeli University of Chant. Since 2014, he has been working in the National Palace of Folklore (now the Georgian State Academic Ensemble of Song and Dance “Rustavi” studio “Martve”) as a lotbar.
