In 1993, he graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University; in 2021 – from the Faculty of Theology at Tbilisi Theological Academy; and in 2002 – Post-graduate at the Georgian Academy of Sciences from Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Language and Literature.
In 2009 he defended the dissertation on the topic: “Paradigms of Christian morality in The Knight in the Panther’s Skin”; in 2013 – the dissertation on the theme “Spiritual and Moral Teachings in the Epistle of St. James the Apostle.”
1993-1999 – teacher of the Georgian language and literature at the secondary school in the town of Martvili, the village of Inchkhuri. 1997-2001 – teacher of Georgian language and literature at the Tbilisi school lyceum “Rhetorician”, the editor of the newspaper “Mtskemsi”, magazine “Savane” in Chiatura and Sachkhere and Sagarejo Eparchy newspaper “Moambe”.
2001-2010s worked as a lecturer of the New Testament, Homiletics, and Rhetorics at Tbilisi Theological Academy and Theological Institute. 2002-2010s was the Dean of Tbilisi Theological Academy, Seminary and Institute – Faculty of Anthropology and Pro-rector in Scientific field at Tbilisi Theological Academy and Seminary.
In 2010-2013 was the Rector of the Theological Academy of Gelati. From 2013 he has been a Professor at the Theological Academy and Seminary and Giorgi Mtatsmindeli University of Chant, and from 2019 – Professor of the Theological faculty of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University.
