The assessment system allows for:
a) Five types of positive evaluations:
(A) Excellent – 91–100 points;
(B) Very Good – 81–90 points;
(C) Good – 71–80 points;
(D) Satisfactory – 61–70 points;
(E) Sufficient – 51–60 points.
b) Two types of negative evaluations:
(FX) Failed to pass an exam – 41–50 points of maximum evaluation, that means that a student requires some more work before passing an exam and is granted the right to take one additional exam by working independently;
(F) Failed – 40 points and less of maximum evaluation, which means that the work carried out by the student is not enough and he/she has to retake the course.
If provided for by the relevant sectoral characteristics of higher education, an arts/creative higher education programe may apply the following system for assessing a creative/performance-based practical project/work:
a) Successfully Passed – 91–100 points;
b) Passed – 51–90 points;
c) Not Passed – 50 points or less.
