Implementation and support of various types of events for the growth and development of students is an important direction of the University of Chant .For this goal, on June 14, workshop of Hungarian folk songs was held at the University of Chant. The workshop was led by the Hungarian musician, composer and piano teacher Róbert Rick. At the meeting, Mr. Rick introduced the participants to the features of Hungarian folk music and taught them several Hungarian folk songs.

Róbert Rick was born in 1983, lives in Budapest. He graduated at University of Miskolc, Béla Bartók Musical Institute – BA (2010) and MA (2012). Finalist of the Student Research Conference of Hungary in 2010 with the theme of “Acoustics of the Concert Halls”. He is doing the Georgian Folk Music Module of IRCTP in Tbilisi, in 2023-24. Winner of the “Sound for a Silent Film” composer’s competition in Hungary, in 2022 with the music of the film “After Death” (dir.: Alfréd Deésy, 1921). 3rd prize of the „HangKeltő Choir Music Competition” in 2023. Founder of the klezmer band, Klezmer R’s. Founder of the Georgian folk ensemble “Vardis Kucha”, in Hungary.
