Since 2018 The University of Chant (Georgia) and Sacred Music Department of the University of Notre Dame (USA) are implementing students exchange program.
From May 23th to June 3th of 2023 Notre Dame Sacred Music department students are traveling on Alice A. Martin Scholarships that allows master students of all SMND programs to visit Georgia for 2 weeks. Students take an intensive practical and theoretical course of Georgian sacred and folk music at the University of Chant.
The program is supported by Rex and Alice A. Martins’ and Elizabeth Borger’s charity foundations. Also, with support of “Georgian Chanting” foundation.
